Music Data Research

The music industry is rapidly changing, with services such as iTunes redefining the way that music is delivered and consumed. Music Data Research is designed to seize the opportunities these technologies create by providing users with uniquely tailored playlists based on their musical tastes and listening trends.

Working in partnership with Cantab Research, ParkerFox created a system to generate intelligently selected playlists from the data on users’ MP3 players and iTunes music libraries. Music Data Research is now seeking further investment in the business and a number of parties have displayed an interest in the technology.
