Tradex

Tradex is a specialist in trade motor insurance and was listed as one of the Sunday Times Profit Track 100 companies. ParkerFox were asked to design and implement an innovative product that would enable car dealerships to quickly insure vehicles and check for stolen vehicles via SMS.

The resulting system can provide real-time vehicle query information from the DVLA to mobile devices, as well as enabling the instant activation and deactivation of insurance policies. Each request sent to the SMS gateway is managed via user defined scripts, which allows for ‘conversations’ between the system and the client for situations where more feedback is needed. The Tradex administrative system allows for the definition of new scripts, as well as providing a secure interface for staff to process insurance requests and track customer usage.
